I've fallen, and I can't get up

Have you ever fallen into a non-reading rut.  I'm not talking about a lack of time for reading, but the complete disinterest in doing so?  I've not experienced this before, but I seem to be in one now.  I've got oodles of books and magazines stacked up to read, and the only ones I can sort of get through are the ones that will likely be relevant to my job.  (I like to avoid failing work pop quizzes when I can.)  Needless to say, there aren't many books that fall into that category.

I subscribe to this wonderful thing from Powell's in Portland, OR called Indiespensible.  It is a phenomenal idea from one of my most favorite places.  Every six weeks a book arrives on your doorstep.  Not just a book, but a signed copy, often a first edition, often in a special binding or case, and sometimes even a set designed exclusively for Powell's.  In addition, there is usually an author Q&A, a snippet of another book, sometimes an entirely separate book, and a special treat.  I've been a subscriber for a while now, although not from the very beginning, which I regret.  So far the treats have been a Powell's mug, a Powell's tote bag, a Kleen Kanteen, chocolate covered marshmallows, and other edible treats.  If anything can get me out of this funk, surely these books can.
